One student will be selected to receive this $1,000 scholarship for their essay detailing how their commitment to serving the community has impacted them as well as others. Join us in providing children with bikes this summer! Visit our Summer Bikes for Kids Giveaway page to nominate a child to win a free bike. GC Deserving First Responder Award
At Grungo Colarulo, we were proud to honor these individuals by offering The Grungo Colarulo Deserving First Responder Award. As personal injury attorneys, we understand the detrimental effects that a catastrophic injury can have on someone’s well being.
The Grungo Colarulo Deserving First Responder Award was a $250 gift card that was awarded to the first responder who worked and devoted their time to helping others and went above and beyond. Jose Ortiz of the Haddonfield Police Department was selected as our 2019 winner!
GC Winefest 2019
The New Jersey personal injury lawyers at Grungo Colarulo were thrilled to meet up with Brotherton Brewing Company at the 5th annual GC Winefest at the Valenzano Wine Festival! Not only does Brotherton Brewing share some of Grungo Colarulo’s values, such as family and community, but they also inspired Grungo Colarulo through some of their charitable initiatives! Brotherton Brewing was part of the event which benefited Semper Fido, a non-profit that trains service dogs for military members with PTSD. Part of the proceeds from the event went towards a $10,000 donation to Semper Fido on behalf of Valenzano Winery. Grungo Colarulo is enormously thankful for companies like Brotherton Brewing who share their goal of helping give back to the community, servicemen and women, and our first responders.
The Deserving Teacher Award
Grungo Colarulo recognizes the impact teachers have made, both in our lives and the lives of others. In order to support our local teachers, we were proud to offer The Deserving Teacher Award. Adopt a Family
The Grungo Colarulo team is proud to have donated items to the Camden County Bar Association Adopt a Family. We are always excited to give back and made an effort to ensure our donations will make a difference.
The holidays are a difficult time for many. Adopt a Family allows organizations to lend a hand to families in the community by donating money, food, and gifts. Palmyra Nature Cove Clean Up with WHYY
As injury attorneys, Grungo Colarulo values creating a safer and cleaner community. This mission spurred us to partner with WHYY to help clean up the beach and river at the Palmyra Nature Cove in South Jersey.

Out of the Darkness - American Foundation For Suicide Prevention
Suicide is a tragedy that too often touches our lives. In an effort to support awareness, Grungo Colarulo participated in the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Out of the Darkness Community Walk. Contributing to this event allows the AFSP to invest in new research, advocate for public policy, and create educational programs.
Grungo Colarulo was proud to engage with the community by walking for “Bubba’s Battalion.” We stand in support of all members of the community who have lost loved ones to suicide and encourage those who are struggling to seek help.
Grungo Colarulo Wheel of Giving
Along with our hands-on volunteerism, Grungo Colarulo values philanthropy. In an effort to regularly use our resources to support local charities, we developed the Wheel of Giving. A few times a year, Grungo Colarulo will allow staff or the public to nominate charities to enter the lottery.
Our first winner was Puppies and More Rescue. They received $250 from the firm and were nominated by one of our paralegals. The second time we hosted the Wheel of Giving, we had first and second place winners. Our first place winner, Mike’s Seafood and Polar Bear Plunge, received $250.
